Your belt is in the oil. That's the problem.
0% finance available — spread the cost over monthly payments
Wet belts don't snap — they shed. The fibres wash into the sump, block the oil pickup, and the engine starves. We replace them properly, sump off, pickup cleaned, for a fixed price agreed before we start.

Engines we work on every week
Is yours a wet belt?
Two cars can wear the same badge and have completely different engines inside. We check against your VIN before quoting, so you're never paying for a job you didn't need.

Leave it, and it stops being a belt job
Wet belts break down into the oil rather than letting go in one piece. Once the debris reaches the pickup pipe, oil pressure drops and the damage spreads through the bottom end. By then you're not buying a belt — you're buying an engine.
Most manufacturers now bring the interval forward. If yours is six years old or past 70,000 miles, it's worth checking rather than waiting for the light.
How the job runs
What you're actually paying for
Plenty of garages will fit a belt and hand the keys back. The part that protects your engine is everything that happens underneath it. Our technicians have over 50 years of combined experience between them.
-
VIN check and fixed quote
We confirm the exact engine and belt kit from your VIN, then give you one price covering parts, labour, oil and filter. It doesn't move unless we find something and call you first.
-
Strip and inspect
Belt cover off, old belt out, and a proper look at the condition. We photograph what we find, so you can see the state it was in.
-
Sump off, pickup cleaned
This is the step that gets skipped. We drop the sump, clean out the shed belt material and flush the oil pickup so the new belt isn't running in a dirty system.
-
New kit, correct oil, timed properly
OE-spec belt kit, tensioner and seals, locking tools on the timing, and the correct grade of oil going back in. Wrong oil is what kills the next belt early.
-
Road test and warranty
Pressure checked, road tested, and handed back with a 12-month parts and labour warranty and your photos.
Trade work welcome
If you're a garage that doesn't want to tie a ramp up for a day, or a dealer who's just taken one in part-exchange, send it to us. Trade rates, quick turnaround, and we don't touch your customer.
Common questions
Can you collect the car?
We can also offer collection and delivery for an additional charge, so you don't need to arrange a lift or lose a day. Ask when you call and we'll quote it with the job.
How long will you have my car?
Most jobs are one working day. A few of the bigger vans need two, and we'll tell you which before you book.
Do I really need the sump off?
If the belt has started to shed, yes. Leaving the debris in there is what causes the failure people are trying to avoid.
What if it turns out to be a chain?
We check the VIN first. If your engine is chain-driven, we'll say so and there's nothing to pay.
Can I supply my own parts?
We'd rather you didn't. The warranty covers our parts and our labour together, and belt kits are where cheap ones cost most.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. We offer 0% finance so you can spread it over monthly payments. Ask when you call and we'll go through the options and what you'd pay.
